  1. Love that you used this quote here with your photos, Lisa!! Perfect!! And, you caught the light so beautifully, too … the golden hour, or the twilight hour … I’ve heard it called both, but it’s that hour when everything looks so magical, and things take on that heavenly glow!! I’m finally here catching up so look for more comments on your next posts up! I would have been here sooner, but, last Sunday I was with my son on a video shoot, and took a lot of on-set photos, and I’ve been editing most of last week, and we had other things to take care of too, but I think I’m back even though I still have lots to do … seems like we never get caught up! Hope you’ve had a great week, too, my friend!! 🙂 Hugs!!

    1. That is so cool that you get to work with your son. You must be thrilled. 🙂

I know there is so much to do! I often think I should get up earlier. I have decided to go back to school and I start today. I am so nerves Deborah. I keep thinking how in the heck do I think I can go back to school and keep up with all I have going on right now. Ugh!!! I really want to keep up with my photography. I”m learning so much I hate to give it up. I was torn between taking photography and American Sign Language. I love teaching. There is a little girl next door who has apraxia of speech. I have picked up a little sign because she comes to my house often – she is such a sweet little girl. Funny thing is I relate well to people with disabilities. I have no idea why they like me but, they do and I’m grateful. So after much thought – and prayer I decided to go back to school ((Oh! and a little nudge from the man up stairs. – I haven’t told you this but, my husband has sever heart failure.:( )) He is doing well right now. He has a pace maker and defibrillator but . . . I don’t know what will happen down the road and I need to be prepared as much as possible. So I’m going back to school. – long story longer – I couldn’t decide what I wanted to do and my oldest son said – “Mom, you love the photography. That is something you will learn anyway. You should go to school for the sign because you won’t fit that in. . . you love teaching and your good with people like that.” So, I am taking my 21 year old sons advice and jumping. Yikes!!!!!!!!!!!! I gotta run 😦 it’s 9;30 -Ready set GO!!!!!!!!!!! LOVE!!!!!!!!!

      1. Oh Lisa … I just saw this!! I did read about you going to school on another one of your posts and commented on that on your ‘back to school’ post! I know everything will balance out for you when it comes to this class, your photography, home school, and life in general! You made a good choice, especially if you love teaching … the photography will come, and it already is! You’re doing so well! Besides, it sounds like you have a heart for people with disabilities, and that is wonderful, Lisa, and, well, I have to say that I have some idea why they would like you, too!! 🙂 I’m glad you took your son’s advice … and a wise son at that!! All those you’ll eventually teach will benefit from you being in their lives, and that’s such a major blessing to them, and to you!!

And no, you hadn’t told me about you husband’s heart condition, Lisa!! That’s a lot to deal with there, but I will be praying for him, and for you! I am so glad to hear that he’s doing well right now, too! My husband isn’t in the best of shape, either, and I often wonder what I would do if anything ever happened! I pray a lot and work to overcome fear when it creeps in, and for the most part, I do … but only God knows what’s down the road, and He is faithful … we just have to trust in His promises that He will watch over us, take care of us, and show us what we need to be doing if something ever were to happen! But do know that you will be in my prayers … I could share more with you, too, so I am going to find some time to send you an email if that’s okay with you. It’s not always so private here in the comment box!! lol! In the meantime, I hope you have a blessed weekend with your family, and make more precious memories together before Matthew goes back to school! Bless you, my friend!! xoxo
