So, last week the best Nana EVER says: “What are you and the girls doing September 12th through the 16th?”
and I said. . . “I don’t know.”
and she says:
“We are flying to Florida. I want to take Mary Elizabeth to Disney. She has never been, and she needs to go. “
and I said: “Wait?
WHAT???”
“and Kathryn is coming too”. . . she says.
So we all took off and flew to Florida.
and went to France
and then London.
No! Wait???
I mean, “the Magic Kingdom”.

Everyone is a kid at Disney. I was living in Tampa for a couple of years shortly after it happened and had a wonderful friend who managed the Contemporary Hotel. We’d often get a call from him telling us that there were no crowds that day and we were to head over as his guests. It didn’t take us a second to be ready and on the road!
My SIMC post was about an outing to a great restaurant here…where you can actually get a terrific beef carpaccio.

Oh my friend! So you did go!! What a blessing your Nana is … and I bet you had an absolute ball!! Love all the photos, and it looked like perfect weather! I’m glad you were able to get away for some R&R, too! I’ve missed you, and and taking pictures, and posting, and being online! So much is happening in our family right now, and I can’t really go into it here, but do hang on … I’ll get that email to you soon and explain everything!
