I love street photography. When I saw this guy playing his horn on the street I just had to shoot him.

When he noticed my camera, he yelled at me.  He said,  “Hey! Are you paying?”  At first he scared me but, then I remembered reading when you shoot someone on the street like a musician offer him a few dollars.  So that’s what I did. I threw a couple of bucks in his box. He was happy. I was thrilled.

  7. oh, lisa, i absolutely love street photography, too! i wish we lived closer together … it would be so fun to go on a city street photo walk with you! and how did you get this effect … the background in a soft focus and the main subject in perfect focus?!! i love it, and i love that it’s in black and white, too! definitely worth a couple of bucks!! 🙂 xo
