it rained in South Carolina like it never rained before last weekend.  It rained so hard the streets flooded and it was best not to go outside.

as my kids walked in to the kitchen one by one they each said with joy: “Hey! You’re baking!” and then silence as they noticed: the tripod, camera and black board . . .  and said almost somberly, “or are you just photographing?”

because sometimes I am known to do one and not the other . . . but, this day – this very rainy day. . . they were in luck . . .

I did both.

557.) being reminded how much love there is says the girl who loves to dance

558.) help with gifts to see better

559.) wonderful sons and daughters

560.) people to clean up after

561.) drip, drip, drip of the coffee pot
