“Time does not pass, it continues.” ~ Marty Rubin
Time. . . it’s not my thing. I’m just not good at it.
The Fisherman has said for years, “I live in eternity“. and these days he says he wants to learn how to get there with me. . . I laugh hard.
It was said last night by one “there are only 55 more days” until their big day.
Last night we wrote out invitations with loving care.
Another thing the Fisherman says often that I know is true. “We hit the jackpot with these beautiful girls who love our young men.”
God is good to us.
I breathe deep, pause time in my head and take it all in.
late lunch grabbed with the Philosopher & our beautiful brown eyed girl
long ride with my girls
an enjoyed chat with a man of the cloth
tears of laughter from the fisherman
writing out invitations by warm fire
music from Les Miserables loud in my car
friends & loved ones who believe I can
ball played in the yard
a photo shoot in the woods
“Don’t eat those yet!” I say to the Fisherman just before he takes a bite. He puts it down and shakes his head at me.
Last night I see these pears and knew tomorrow’s forecast was rainy, dreary and overcast. Rainy, dreary overcast days are one of my favorite forecasts for dreamy dark and moody light.
Oh, my! Be still my heart. How I love this moody light of November.
photographing many beautiful faces
laughs over the phone with my son far away
dark, dreary days
see her happy face running to the car after dance class
“Anything’s possible if you’ve got enough nerve.”
― J.K. Rowling, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
I believe this to be true. It’s getting up the nerve that’s the hardest part.
She went as Ginny Weasley last night.
