She snuggles in. I see low Christmas tree lights chiseling fine features. . . and ohhhhhh that bundle.
I grab Nikon and open F-stop, push Aperture as far as I can go without drag. It doesn’t disappoint.

“If I get married, I want to be very married.”
– Audrey Hepburn
It’s been one week now since this beautiful free-spirited Artist married our Charming.
We saw them last night and even though dinner was terrible – we couldn’t have enjoyed it all more.
While he and the Fisherman worked on their car in our garage, she shared with excitement the week of wonderful first: figuring out all new things together, how “they are getting their new home very clean and organized“, changing her last name on Facebook, how Charming didn’t think of tools and that old oven doesn’t work. . . and then with more love in her voice – about their first married day with a celebratory steak dinner on the floor in their new living room . . . and she made it all sound so glorious. . . because it was.

Time. . . it’s not my thing. I’m just not good at it.
The Fisherman has said for years, “I live in eternity“. and these days he says he wants to learn how to get there with me. . . I laugh hard.
It was said last night by one “there are only 55 more days” until their big day.
Last night we wrote out invitations with loving care.
Another thing the Fisherman says often that I know is true. “We hit the jackpot with these beautiful girls who love our young men.”
God is good to us.
I breathe deep, pause time in my head and take it all in.
